Police officer Simon Hall and retired police biker Dudley Martin are heading east on the 4,000-mile motorcycle ride along with around 30 other bikers, which will take them from the Isle of Wight to Moscow and back.
The two-week-long journey will see them travel through Holland, Germany, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belarus and into Russia. The pair hope to raise thousands for Love Russia which works to help orphans as they move into adult life. Each rider is aiming to raise £4,000 to cover trip costs and enable them to donate £2,000 to the charity.
